Smiling’s my Favorite

Buddy the Elf had it right when he said “smiling’s my favorite”. Honestly, what is better? But more than that, why fight it?

Oftentimes when you “act weird” or laugh at pretty much everything, you’re pegged as immature. But how I see it, that makes you more mature than most of your peers that are trying to fit the “adult” mold. You’re able to look past how society is telling you to act and what you’re “supposed to” enjoy and find something fun in everything you do.

Quite honestly, it makes life a whole lot more fun. Sure glitz and glam is great; but acting stupid and being able to laugh at yourself just seems way more appealing to me. There are certainly places where you have to act a bit more proper, but where does acting proper really get you once you’re beyond those closed doors?

Never mind that, but once you establish a carefree, bubbly mindset it is a lot easier to catch a glimpse of light in the darkest of places. If you take a moment to enjoy all of the little things when everything is going well, then those little things will be all the more appealing when everything seems to be falling apart.

Let smiling become your favorite, and let your hair down. Who doesn’t love Buddy?
